The Bench of Bishops of the Church in Wales has issued updated guidance to churches following a rise in the number of cases of Covid-19, Coronavirus.
The Bishops are encouraging congregations to pray for those infected by the virus, as well as their family and friends. They also advise that during Holy Communion, the public administration of the chalice (the wine) should cease in the Church in Wales until further notice and alternative forms of sharing the peace, which don’t involved physical contact, should be encouraged.
