A church community in Henllan is celebrating almost a year of opening as a Warm Space.

Volunteers from St Sadwrn Church in the Denbigh Mission Area started the Henllan Warm Space in response to the cost-of-living crisis last winter. They only intended to open for a few months but have been making two-course hot meals for more than 40 people every week ever since.

In this film, volunteers from the community and church explain how they gather the food from local supermarkets and create the meals. Plus, they have a table full of surplus food which anyone can take home with them.
