All church services and acts of public worship are suspended

Church services across the Diocese of St Asaph have been suspended following updated advice from the Church in Wales’ Bench of Bishops.

The advice also applies to gatherings for worship and has implications for weddings, baptisms and funerals in the coming months.

In most cases, churches will remain open for private prayer and priests will continue to offer pastoral support, in line with appropriate restrictions, to their congregations and local communities.

Online acts of worship and streamed services are expected to take the place of Sunday and weekday services. Churches are making contact with families who have booked Baptisms or Weddings in the coming months.

All diocesan meetings, training sessions and rural consultation events are now postponed until the end of June.
