An Advent Book of Days

In 2021, Bishop Gregory’s Advent Book of Days was published. Each day focuses on a different character in the Christmas story, bringing together the biblical narrative, traditions, legends, art associated with the character and ending with their relevance today and a prayer.

Each day is presented below, with a summary of the character, the daily prayer and the image drawn by Bishop Gregory. There’s plenty more to read in the book itself which is available from the publisher, Canterbury Press, local bookshops or as an e-book on Hive.
