Day 25

We come to the Feast of the Nativity and we ourselves draw near to the stable so that we might be introduced to the Christ child.

In the celebration of the Nativity, we celebrate the moment when God joined his nature to his creation, becoming one of us, that we might become the bearers of eternal life.  This is the point to which our journey towards Christmas brings us – the realisation that the Christ child is God in our midst.
