The Diocese of St Asaph has appointed a new Head of Education, Children’s and Youth Work. Louise Williams, an experienced teacher, senior leader and head teacher, will join the Diocesan team on Monday 9 December.

Previously, Louise was head of a Church in Wales Voluntary Aided School in Wrexham and has recently qualified as an Executive Coach and Mentor. She is an experienced schools’ inspector, working with Estyn, and is currently a community and local authority school governor.

Through her work as a 1:1 coach, Louise has enjoyed forging strong relationships with headteachers across the diocese and her passion lies in supporting and developing school leaders. She aims to use these skills and experience to further develop strong and purposeful relationships with schools across the diocese as she takes on the role as Head of Education.
