A special Christmas Carol Concert to celebrate the volunteering and service of young people across Wrexham took place at the William Aston Hall last night (4 December).

The Regimental Goat of the Royal Welsh greeted guests arriving for the Cadets’ Carols for Christmas event which was organised by the Archdeacon of Wrexham and the High Sheriff of Clwyd.

The concert showcased the service of young people from across the region and  included music from the Salvation Army Band and the Rhos Orpheus Male Choir. There was an address to young people from the High Sheriff, the Honourable Kate Hill-Trevor and a Christmas message from the Venerable Canon Dr Hayley Matthews. A series of short films highlighted some of the work of the young volunteers and cadets.
