A Foodbank with a difference in Aberconwy Mission Area
Churches in the Aberconwy Mission Area have come together to support people in their local community through Aberconwy Care and Share.

The project is partly based at St Michael’s and All Angel’s Church in Llandudno Junction but covers the entire Mission Area and runs like a food bank but with a couple of significant differences. Firstly, no official referral is required and secondly, volunteers make a monthly delivery to those in need.
Aberconwy Care and Share was started four years ago in response to the Coronavirus pandemic by the leader of St David’s Mission Hub Church in Penrhyn Bay, the Revd Juliet Fraser. Juliet, along with an extensive team of volunteers, runs the scheme which provides monthly food parcels to around 27 families.
