Three charities have been shortlisted to receive the 2027 Diocesan Offering:
All members of the St Asaph Diocesan Conference are being invited to vote for the charity they would like to receive the 2027 Diocesan Offering. The winner will be announced at this year’s Diocesan Conference in October.
At the same time, we encourage you to give generously to this year’s chosen charity, Boxes of Sunshine, a Wrexham-based charity that brings joy and comfort to young people living with chronic illnesses or long‑term health conditions. Information on how to give is below or please contact Pamela Vernon for more information.
Each year, congregations across the Diocese of St Asaph come together to raise funds for a local charity – Our Diocesan Offering. The chosen charity is selected by members of the Diocesan Conference, and the total amount raised is donated at the annual Diocesan Conference in October.
The 2026 Diocesan Offering was launched at the Diocesan Conference in Coleg Cambria in Wrexham in October 2025. Churches, Mission Areas and individuals will be fundraising for Boxes of Sunshine throughout 2026.
Founded in memory of 14-year-old Kirsten Hill, this Wrexham-based charity sends curated gift boxes to chronically ill young people across the UK.
