Celebrations are taking place this weekend to mark 100 years of  the village of Llay and 95 years of its church, St Martin’s of Tours.  The anniversaries coincide with the centenary of the Church in Wales with St Martin’s Church being the first new church to be consecrated after disestablishment in 1925.
